A 24th meeting between members of a Russian Orthodox Church work group with Russian foreign ministry officials took place on Tuesday in Moscow, at the ministry.
The Church delegation was led by the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, His Eminence Hilarion, while the ministry delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Ivanov.
Hilarion is also the head of the Moscow Patriarchate’s department for external church relations (DECR).
