Metropolitan bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church of Beirut, Elias Audi, met Thursday with newly-appointed governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud.

“We discussed affairs relevant to Beirut and to the beginning of my vocation in the service of the city,” Abboud told reporters following the meeting.

“My door will be open to everybody,” he underlined.
