On 19 November 2018, His Beatitude Chrysostomos II, Archbishop of New Justiniana and All Cyprus, received Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR), who arrived in Cyprus with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
They were joined in the meeting, which took place the Archbishopric premises in Nicosia, by Bishop Gregorios of Mesaoria and hierodeacon Grigory (Sokolov), a staff member of the DECR.
Topical issues of the inter-Orthodox relations were discussed.
