The Metropolitan of Germany and Exarch of Central Europe, His Eminence Augoustinos, spoke to the Orthodoxia Νews Αgency this week, regarding the modern-day scourge of the coronavirus pandemic, noting that despite the fact that confirmed infections in the country are high, by comparison there are only a small number of fatalities.
“Germany has the best healthcare system in the world. Germans are proud of their country; they have built an excellent state, and, of course, are disciplined,” he said in an interview, over the phone, with journalist Antonis Makatounis.
