On 15th November 2020, the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost: Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral in Chisinau.

Archpriest Vadim Cheibas, the Cathedral Dean and Metropolitan Secretary, and the synaxis of priests and deacons of the Metropolitan Cathedral assisted the arch-pastor during the Divine Service.

In the solemn atmosphere of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Vladimir officiated two ordinations: deacon Daniel Tambur was ordained priest and appointed to service in the Protection of the Theotokos Church of Dorotcaia community, Dubasari district, and subdeacon Nicolae Fustei, PhD in Theology and History, Associate Professor, was ordained deacon for the Holy Prince Vladimir Monastery in Horasti community, Ialoveni district.

The Holy Communion gathered church-goers from all parts of Chisinau and suburbs, who came to pray for the mercy, peace, and health of the Moldovan people.

The Liturgical responses during the service were provided by the Metropolitan Choir directed by Angela Angheni.

With the blessing of the hierarch, the Cathedral Dean, archpriest Vadim Cheibas delivered a message of pastoral guidance on the Sunday Gospel Reading (Luke 8: 26-39), referring to the healing of the possessed man in the Gadara region.

The miracle described by Holy Apostle Luke underlines the power of God and merciful love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, showed to the man who was liberated from a legion of demons.

Thanks-giving service was officiated after the Divine Liturgy, and the partakers of the Sunday  service received the arch-pastoral blessing and were dismissed in peace.
