Today is the 4th Wednesday after Pascha – Holy and Great Easter Sunday, and is known as the Mid-Pentecost.
The Church today venerates the memory of the 2nd century Holy Virgin Martyr Glyceria, one of the first early Christians to achieve the crown of martyrdom.
