Members of the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece convened on Tuesday morning, with Greece’s Development and Investments Minister, Adonis Georgiadis, briefing hierarchs over a framework of cooperation between the Church and state.
Among others, a memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Church, the ministry and the Network of Greek Cities for Development, with the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, later referring to the successful conclusion of partnership that will offer the Church a modern development tool.
