Moscow Patriarchate honors professor emeritus Boris Alexandrovich

The Russian Orthodox Church’s Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, His Eminence Hilarion, this week honored Russian theology professor emeritus Boris Alexandrovich for his long-standing contributions to the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department of External Church Relations.

His Eminence Hilarion, who is the chairman of the Department and a permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Moscow, bestowed the Order of St. Mark of Ephesus to Alexandrovich a few days after the latter celebrated his 90th birthday.

Due to pandemic restrictions and public health precautions, the ceremony was held online.
