The National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Moldova commended the Metropolis of Bessarabia for its assistance in organizing and conducting the 2024 Population and Housing Census.
“Thanks to your support, data collection activities about individuals and their dwellings took place, which are extremely important and necessary for understanding the demographic, ethnocultural, and socio-economic realities intended to improve the lives of citizens in every community in the country,” reads the letter addressed to His Eminence Metropolitan Petru of Bessarabia.
The National Bureau of Statistics has committed to providing the census results upon data processing completion.
“We thank you for your cooperation in developing relevant, up-to-date, and reliable official statistical data on the country’s and its localities’ socio-economic situation and hope to continue this collaboration in the future,” states the letter of appreciation.
The 2024 Population and Housing Census was conducted between April 8 and July 7. The first results will be announced by the end of this year, and the final data will be published at the end of 2025.
