The new Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, will arrive in Melbourne on Aug. 3, a metropolis that hosts one of the biggest ethnic Greek communities outside Greece.
Makarios was enthroned as the Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in Australia last weekend during an enthronement ceremony in the Archdiocese cathedral of the Annunciation of Our Lady Theotokos, in the Sydney suburb of Redfern.
