The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, on Wednesday presided over the ordination of the new Metropolitan of Kananga, His Eminence Haritonos.
The ordination service was held at the Holy Cathedral of St. Nicholas, in Cairo’s old quarter.
The new metropolitan was elected to the bishopric by the Sacred and Holy Synod of the Alexandria Patriarchate last month.
