The number of Christians in China, the world’s most populous country, continues to grow, despite official discouragement in some parts of the vast country.
China’s biggest printing house announced that the number of new Bibles printed in the country exceeded 200 million copies, and that is just for current year. Roughly half the Bibles comprise orders by foreign companies and are exported, although the rest are translated editions of the Gospel, printed in the 11 national languages recognized by the Chinese state.
Approximately 100 Christians live in that country today.
