On the occasion of Nativity and the New Year, His Beatitude Patriarch John X, made a call today to Lebanese President Michel Aoun to extend his greetings for the seasons, wishing him success in his endeavors to rescue Lebanon from its crisis. The Patriarch gave his wishes for the Lebanese people that the New Year bear fulfillment of their aspirations and deliverance from this adversity. Discussions took place during the call about the developments of the Lebanese situation and the outcome of the efforts to form the new Lebanese government. On the same occasion, His Beatitude John X also contacted both the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri and the newly appointed Prime Minister Dr. Hassan Diab, wishing them success, and hoping that the people of Lebanon may find stability in their unity, development and prosperity.
