The Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral this week again accused the government in the small Adriatic country of discriminating against the Orthodox Church there.
The Orthodox Church reminded that a relaxation of coronavirus-related restrictions makes no mention of the Church or religious services, while directly referring to a “form of violence against Orthodoxy”.
At the same time, the Orthodox Church in Montenegro said that even amid the pandemic it is continuing its humanitarian work, keeping open and expanding soup kitchens.
