The Metropolitinate of Montenegro and the Littoral’s Bishop of Mileshevo, His Grace Atanasije, on Wednesday issued an immediate response to an instance of vandalism against an Islamic cultural center in the city of Pljevlja, adding that “…we pray to God to bring about peace”.
The Orthodox Church in the small Adriatic country also immediately expressed its stern condemnation, with the Metropolitan-Bishop of Montenegro and the Littoral, His Eminence Amphilochios, saying that the action is reprehensible and must receive the necessary penalty.
