Recalling the bringing of the honourable head of Saint Andrew to Bucharest in 2011, and the presence of his holy hand for the National Cathedral’s inauguration, Patriarch Daniel on Sunday said that it is Saint Andrew who has helped the building of the Cathedral.
‘Saint Andrew the Apostle has built the cathedral using the skills of the workers and iconographers,” His Beatitude stressed at the first Divine Liturgy celebrated at the newly-consecrated National Cathedral.
“Of course, the Head of Saint Andrew helped us to beautifully plan this cathedral,”the Patriarch added pointing to the fact that “Saint Andrew hps us think and work spiritually and be missionaries in our time following the example of St Andrew in the first century.”
