His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East arrived in America this morning.
The Patriarch arrived at JFK Airport in New York City this morning, where he was received by His Eminence Metropolitan Saba of New York and All North America, the newly enthroned head of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of America, priests, and parishioners, reports the Antiochian Patriarchate.
Upon his arrival at the Archdiocese in Englewood, New Jersey, a moleben of thanksgiving was served.
Pat. John will attend the Archdiocese’s 56th Biennial Convention, which will be hosted by St. George Antiochian Church in Phoenix July 23-30. Other guests include Yelena Popovic, the director of the hugely popular film Man of God, about St. Nektarios the Wonderworker.
