His Beatitude the Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John received their excellencies the Ministers Mrs. Zeina Akar (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense), Mr. Raymond Ghajar (Energy and Water) and Mr. Michel Najjar (Public Works and Transport) at the Patriarchal Residence in Balamand.
The meeting involved the current situation and the challenges facing the government.
His Beatitude expressed his hope that the government efforts will succeed in alleviating the economic situation and boosting the country’s progress. In turn, the ministers expressed their confidence in the historical role and national message of the Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lebanon and the East and throughout its dioceses in the whole world.
