Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa received by new governor of Alexandria

The Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, this week was received by the new governor of Alexandria, Mohamed Al-Sherif.

The latter expressed his respect and appreciation of the Greek Orthodox Church of Africa, a Patriarchate that has been based in the ancient and celebrated metropolis of Alexandria for two millennia.

On his part, the Patriarch of Alexandria conveyed his respect and gratitude to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for the support and security the latter has provided to the Alexandrian Church.
