Patriarch of Moscow requests temporary suspension of utility payments by Church-affiliated institutions, cites pandemic

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill, this week called on Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to personally intervene for a temporary suspension in utilities payments owed by Church-affiliated institutions in the vast country.
The Russian patriarch cited the severe problems caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
