Young people from the Romania-based Orthodox association of “St. Meletios”, which caters to the hearing impaired, were presented this week with gifts conveyed by the Patriarch of All Romania, His Beatitude Daniel, ahead of Christmas, including the edition “Stories from the Gospels, for Children and Parents”.
The initiative is part of the “St. Nicholas in Children’s Homes” program, which is organized by the Romanian Patriarchate’s social and charity department, in cooperation with the Archdiocese of Bucharest’s missionary service.
