Patriarch of Serbia calls on faithful to follow guidelines, precautions

A team of specialists briefed the Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Irinej, over the ongoing pandemic, with a later announcement by the Patriarchate calling on the faithful to strictly follow guidelines and directives issued by state officials and public health authorities.
On the eastern Mediterranean island of Cyprus, the Metropolitan of Limassol, His Eminence Athanasios, issued a taped statement, entitled “spiritually dealing with the coronavirus pandemic”, calling for prayer during these difficult hours.
