The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Sunday, officiated at the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. Sava, in Belgrade’s Vracar district, where, in a sermon, he called on the faithful to be humble and with Love for Christ.
Still in the wider region, a fire broke out on Sunday afternoon in a monk’s cell at the Holy Monastery of Hilandari (Chiliandar), on Mount Athos.
The blaze was extinguished in the early hours of the morning on Monday, with only material damages reported.
