Thousands of people again held peaceful protests in cities around Montenegro to show their opposition to a controversial law that allows the state to confiscate religious institutions’ assets and relics, which the Serbian Orthodox Church in the small Adriatic country has charged aims to directly harm Orthodoxy and the Church.
