Members of the Holy Synod of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church this week discussed the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the country and its repercussions on people’s daily lives and on spiritual life.
The holy synod convened under the chairmanship of the Archbishop of Warsaw and Metropolitan of All Poland, His Beatitude Sawa.
Among others, the Holy Synod issued an encyclical to all Orthodox clerics and monastic orders in Poland, calling on them to follow public health measures and to remain intrepid during the current period, faithfully serving the commandments of the Lord and His Church.
