President of Uganda donates vehicle to the Orthodox Diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda

With the grace of God, on 13th. Feb. 2020, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has honored PART of his pledge to the Uganda Orthodox Church as he donated a Brand New Pajero Mitsubishi to the Bishop of the Orthodox Diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda, His Grace Silvester Kisitu. This pledge was done last year, January 2019 as the Bishop was being officially introduced to the President at State House Entebbe where he promised 2 vehicles to the Church, i.e. one is to the then New Bishop; Silvester Kisitu and the other to His Eminence Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga of Kampala. His Grace appreciated this gift which will undoubtedly be an instrumental tool in spreading the Mission in the hard to reach areas of the Diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda. Upon reaching the Orthodox Headquarters in Namungoona, His Eminence Metropolitan Jonah presided over the service of blessing the vehicle ahead of its Mission in the Diocese of Gulu and commended His Excellency for the fulfillment of part of his pledge.
