A reliquary containing the holy relics of St. Paraskeva of the Balkans was conveyed from the Metropolitan Cathedral in the Romanian city of Iasi, to a dome in the Casei Epivata district for veneration by the faithful.

A procession, led by the Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăutsi., His Eminence Calinic, of the reliquary was held in the morning.

In neigboring Bulgaria, the annual litany on the feast day of St. Paraskeva was held in the parish Trilistnik, in the Metropolis of Plovdiv, in the previous evening, on Tuesday, after the Divine Liturgy.
