Peaceful protests continue in Montenegro against a recently passed law that the Orthodox Church in the small Adriatic country charges is a threat to its properties and relics.

Protests occurred in several cities.

In the coastal city of Tivat, the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, His Eminence Amphilochios, again underlined that the Church had warned the government and Parliament MPs not to proceed with a law that is illegal, against the Church and unpatriotic.
