A Korean organization this month released a report presenting horrifying accounts of Christian persecution in North Korea, a communist dictatorship that ranks as one of the most repressive regimes in the world.
Korea Future Initiative (KFI) conducted the investigation to document the religious freedom violations perpetrated against North Korean citizens, and to inform decision-makers in the international community.
Entitled “Persecuting Faith: Documenting religious freedom violations in North Korea”, the report contains the first phase of the project, revealing the terrifying conditions of Christians, who are persecuted and sent to the impoverished country’s labor camps.
For the 20th consecutive year, North Korea ranks as an unenviable first on the World Watch List as the most dangerous country for Christians.
