Republic of Srpska nat’l assembly to issue proclamation against persecution of Serbian Church in Montenegro

The National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, the Serbian entity within Bosnia, is expected to ratify a proclamation this month regarding the continued opposition and protest rallies in Montenegro against a controversial law that was passed last month in the small Adriatic country.
Deputies in the assembly have called for the proclamation to express deep concern over the status of Serbians in Montenegro, as well as what they called the numerous and repeated violations of the human and political rights of the Serbian people.

Finally, the proclamation is expected to condemn the attacks against the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro and to demand the abolition of the latest law in Montenegro regarding religious institutions.
