The Greek government’s relevant Macedonia-Thrace Minister, Theodoros Karaoglou, spoke to the Orthodoxia news agency on Monday regarding road repairs on the autonomous Orthodox monastic of Mount Athos, in the wake of last April’s torrential rains on the northern Greece peninsula.
Karaoglou also referred to the Greek state’s cooperation with the Holy Community’s ecclesiastical council, as well as efforts to protect monks’ health amid the ongoing pandemic.
