Romanian Patriarch: Church allocated 32 mln€ for charity in 2019

The national council of the Church of Romania, chaired by the Patriarch of All Romania, His Beatitude Daniel, convened this week to review the Church’s overall activities and initiatives from the previous year, as well as to hear proposals for 2020.
In briefing the council’s members, the Romanian Patriarch said the Church recorded nearly 800 charitable initiatives for social institutions and services, with the total sum spent for charity reaching approximately 32 million euros.
