Romanian Patriarch cites importance of generosity, giving as an expression of spirituality

The Patriarch of All Romania, His Beatitude Daniel, on Wednesday cited the importance of generosity and giving as an expression of spirituality, speaking during at an event at the Romanian Academy in Bucharest on the occasion of the National Culture Day.

The Patriarch noted that “… among the most exceptional virtues that the Romanian people have is a culture of reverence and humanity; this significant legacy of principle and standards has formulated the spirituality and civilization of the Romanian people.”
