The Metropolis of Serres and Nigrita, in northern Greece, announced a total of 179 scholarships for college students on New Year’s Eve, with the total reaching 30,000 euros.
The scholarships were announced by the Metropolitan Serres and Nigrita, His Eminence Theologos, who also blessed a traditional New Year’s cake at the diocese, in the presence of clerics, office-holders, representatives of state services and the faithful.
