The service of the Great Canon of St. Andrew was performed on Wednesday at the Patriarchal Monastery of St. Savvas the Sanctified, in Alexandria, officiated by the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II.
After the solemn service, several young African students of the Patriarchal seminary were tonsured as rassophore monks by the Patriarch of Alexandria.
