On the occasion of the 46th anniversary of Archbishop Makarios’ return to Cyprus on Dec. 7, 1974 and a turnout of 250,000 people to welcome him, after four-and-a-half months of self-exile, the Orthodoxia news agency today has posted a special feature on the life and works of Cyprus’ greatest statesman – complete with rare audiovisual material.
