Spiritual, humanitarian aid by Orthodox bishopric of Arusha in Tanzania

Halfway around the world, the Orthodox bishopric of Arusha, in central Tanzania, continued its spiritual and charitable work, with volunteers visiting villages in the Iringa district to distribute food and other items, before participating in a Divine Liturgy for the Sunday of Thomas.
In another corner of the world, the parish of St. Demetrius in the Astoria district of the NYC borough of Queens is distributing meals to people in need, all amid the coronavirus pandemic, an initiative undertaken with the local AHEPA chapter.
