St. Spyridon Hellenic Orthodox Church GOYA Celebrates Year-End Bonfire

Last week, St. Spyridon Hellenic Orthodox Church in Palos Heights, Illinois hosted a bonfire for their GOYA members to celebrate completing the school year. GOYAns shared a prayer and dinner, enjoying each other’s company and friendship. Afterward, students participated in a religious education session offered by Fr. George Lamberis, entitled “Overcoming our Paralysis: Drawing near to Christ.” St. Spyridon’s GOYA members enjoyed wonderful fellowship over the past year and extend gratitude to parish clergy, parent volunteers, and GOYA advisors Stephane Collopy and Stacey Vallianatos for their support and efforts throughout the year.
