The first online Synaxis, or assembly, from Mt. Athos with the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, with Romanian Orthodox chanters, was held this week.
The assembly from Mt. Athos was hosted by the online Orthodox platform Pemptousia, in cooperation with the Holy Metropolis of Bukovina and the Byzantine Music Foundation.
The Elder Ephraim addressed the assembly, spoke with participants and answered questions.
