NBA player Nikola Vučevic, an ethnic Montenegrin, continues to offer assistance to his compatriots, amid the ongoing pandemic.
The star center for the Orlando Magic recently contributed a significant amount towards the soup kitchens and meal delivery network run by the Orthodox Church in the small Adriatic country.
According to an announced by Holy Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, this was not the first time that Vučevic has supported the Church’s charity work.
The professional basketball player is also well-known for visiting the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, atop Mt. Rumija, every time he returns to Montenegro.
