Sydney: Greek Welfare Centre 47th Walkathon on Sunday 29 October 2023
With the blessing and in the presence of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, GWC Community Services (Greek Welfare Centre) in conjunction with the Parish of St Spyridon, Kingsford invites you to the 47th WALKATHON which will be held on Sunday 29 October 2023.
The annual Walkathon is the main fundraising event that supports the work of GWC Community Services, which is the official Community and Social Welfare Services arm of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, serving those in need since 1975.
It is noted that registrations will take place between 11am-1pm, followed by the walk and festivities, which will include a special raffle draw. There are many great prizes to be won, with the 1st Prize being a $4000 travel voucher!
