The memory of Saint Andrew the First-Called Apostle was celebrated with splendour in the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne. The Parish of Saint Andrew in Forest Hill was the focus of the festive celebrations.

His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne, visited the celebrating parish, who on the eve of the feast day presided over the Great Vespers Service, while on the main day of the feast officiated over the festive Divine Liturgy.

His Grace Bishop Kyriakos conveyed to the faithful the prayers and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
