On the occasion of the feast day of Saint Euphemia the Great Martyr, on Tuesday, 11 July 2023, His Eminence Metropolitan Symeon of Fthiotida presided over the Matins and Divine Liturgy with the blessing of the five loaves at the celebrating Metropolitan Church of Saint Euphemia, Chalcedon, and was also joined in prayer by the local Shepherd, His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon.
His Eminence Metropolitan Symeon of Fthiotida honoured Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel by presenting him with a Hierarchical Engolpion at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy.
