His Grace Bishop Iakovos presided at both Great Vespers and Matins and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the community feast of St Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Kentish Town.

The Very Reverend Archimandrites Chrysostomos Michailides, Vasileios Emmanouil and Vissarion Kokliotis, along with Protopresbyters Constantinos Garivaldinos, Nikolaos Kokkinos and Œcomomos Kristian Akselberg concelebrated at the Hierarchical Liturgy in memory of the First Called Apostle.

During festal Vespers the Rev. Deacon Gregory Florides preached while at the Divine Liturgy on the following day the V.Rev. Archimandrite Vasileios Emmanouil delivered the sermon.

Mr Stephen Christopher Davis was also tonsured a reader, marking a special moment not only in his own life and spiritual journey but in the life of the entire community, particularly on the feast of the parish’s patron Saint. The honourable Consuls of both the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Cyprus, His Excellency Odysseas Odysseos and His Excellency Christos Goulas were both present at the Divine Liturgy. The community hosted a gracious meal in a local restaurant, following the Eucharistic synaxis.
