Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium received at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Rotterdam the new Ambassador of Greece to the Netherlands, Aikaterina Gini, οn Sunday, January 23, 2022.
The Metropolitan, after welcoming the new Ambassador, wished her well for this new beginning and recalled the good cooperation that existed in the past, when the new Ambassador served at the Greek Embassy in The Hague from another position, while stating that the Holy Diocese is available for harmonious cooperation with the Embassy in the interest of the homeland, Greece, and the expatriates.
