The official poster for the upcoming and highly-anticipated film “Man of God”, based on the life, works and miracles of St. Nektarios, was unveiled this week, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the saint’s repose.
The feature length film by director Yelena Popovic is expected to debut in movie theaters next year.
The title role is played by Greek actor Aris Servetalis, along with an ensemble cast of Greek and foreign actors, including Alexander Petrov and Mickey Rourke.
The film is produced by Simeon Entertainment and View Master Films, with support from the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, the St. Maximus the Greek Institute and Eurogroup Ltd.
