The program of the Ecumenical Patriarch for the Sunday of the Veneration of the Holy Cross
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will officiate at the venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George, Phanar, during the Great Vespers on Saturday evening, 6 April 2024, at 4:00pm in the afternoon and also will officiate during the Divine Liturgy on Sunday of the Veneration of the Holy Cross (7 April), “co-officiating with the local Synodical and other present Holy Hierarchs”
The holy sermon will be preached, according to the church order, by the Archdeacon Alexandros.
On Sunday afternoon, at 5:00pm, the Patriarch will officiated during the Lenten Vespers of the 3rd Sunday of Lent at the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos, Balinos, in the Golden Horn District,
The choir of the Peran Musicians Association will chant during the Vespers Service.
At the Vespers, the holy sermon will be preached by the Grand Syncellus, Archimandrite Iakovos Krochak.
