The Agiasmos service annually marking the beginning of the new academic year 2020-21 in the School of Theology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, took place on Thursday 10/09/2020 at the School’s Chapel. The service was performed by the Bishop of Abydos Kyrillos (Katerelos), Head of the Faculty of Social Theology and the Study of Religion, and attended by senior university officials, faculty members, staff and students. At the end of the service the Dean of the School of Theology Dr. Christos Karagianis delivered a short speech welcoming all participants and calling for peace, health, creativity and fruitfulness in the year that lies ahead.
