Today The Order of St. Andrew congratulates Fr. Alex and Presbytera Xanthi on the occasion of Fr. Alex’s 50th anniversary of his ordination to the holy priesthood. Fr. Alex, our beloved Spiritual Advisor and Presvytera Xanthi both occupy a special place in the life of The Order of St. Andrew not only as previous recipients of the Athenagoras Human Rights Award, but as extraordinary Orthodox faithful following the tenants of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and devoting their lives to serve the needs of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and their magnificent Greek Orthodox Church in the Hamptons, the Dormition of the Virgin Mary.
We wish Fr. Alex, Presbytera Xanthi and their entire family many years of good health, happiness and “every perfect gift from above.”
