Two years have passed since the repose in the Lord of the Elder Ephraim of Arizona, the last living spiritual offspring of St. Joseph the Hesychast, who is reverently considered as the founder of Mount Athos monasticism in North America.
A memorial service was held on Sunday at the Holy Monastery of St. Anthony for the repose of the soul of the Elder, as well as trisagion prayer service.
A feature has been posted today on the online platform Pemptousia on the life and works of the Elder Ephraim of Arizona.
